Teens Taking Action To Stop Animal Cruelty

Teenagers are one group that can help to stop animal cruelty, while helping to promote moral consciousness in the world. According to the United States Humane Society, of all the animal abuse cases reported, almost twenty percent were perpetrated by teenagers.

This is a growing trend that should be brought to a halt immediately. In order to do this, teens and other children need to learn to respect and love animals of all types, perhaps by getting involved in helping the animals instead of hurting them.

One of the best resources for both adults and teens, in the fight to stop animal cruelty, is the Humane Society of the United States. A teenager can gain great insight by reading how they can help stop animal abuses by getting involved in the community.

For example, a teen can get literature on how to educate smaller children of the importance of caring about and respecting animals and their rights.

With people like Hayden Panettiere and Britney Spears doing their part to stop animal cruelty, many more teens may become more motivated to help in the fight against animal abuse.

So much information is available for teenagers, with regard to learning how to stop animal abuse and in helping to get their community more involved in the effort. All one has to do is let their fingers do the clicking when it comes to learning how one can get involved with this great morale effort.

Sociopaths Have A Link With Cruelty To Animals

Sociopathic behavior has been studied for centuries and it has been shown that many who are afflicted usually have a past that involves some form of cruelty to animals.

Serial killers, such as Ted Bundy and Brenda Spencer, abused animals when they were young. This is a serious issue, and if an adult sees a child abusing an animal, then they should not hesitate to investigate the issue further.

According to the FBI, a history of cruelty to animals is one trait that appears over and over in serial killers and even rapists. The one group of animals that suffer the most by abuse is companion animals.

Family pets, such as dogs and cats, usually suffer at the hands of children who are afflicted with a mental disorder, as they tend to take their aggression out on these defenseless creatures.

Just as with a domestic abuser, the animal abuser needs to show dominance. If this behavior is not dealt with effectively during childhood, then as an adult, the perpetrator could move on to human prey.

There has long been a link between cruelty to animals and sociopathic behavior. This is something that parents and other adults should take very seriously if they see it happening. This behavior can lead to serious issues later in life.

The animals of the world do not deserve to be treated inhumanely by an adult or a child, and children have to be taught to respect animals, as well as how to take care of them properly.
